Married father caught thanks to unique tattoo on leg after raping mentally disabled girl at party

A girl told police that she was at a party when a group of men forced a beer down her throat.

The girl of Sydney, Australia, who is mentally challenged, told police that she passed out and later woke up to an aching belly and bleeding.

The incident of the rape came to light only after police officers seized a camera during an investigation of vandalism.

Officer found a 17-minute video recorded on a GoPro camera, showing 2 men gang raping the 16-year-old at a house party.

Detectives watched the video and searched for clues that would identify the suspects. At one point in the video, they spotted a unique bulldog tattoo on the leg of one of the suspects.

Court records show that police searched online and found that 27-year-old Kurt Stevenson, a married father-of-one child, shared a photo of himself getting that bulldog tattoo on his leg.

Detectives were then able to bring down the group of men. Police arrested Stevenson, Tristan Carlyle-Watson, 27, Andrew Waters, 25, and Ayden Devereux.

They were found guilty on multiple charges.

Stevenson was sentenced to 13 years and nine months in prison.

Waters was sentenced to 11 years and six months in prison with a non-parole period of seven years and eight months.

Carlyle-Watson, who did not rape the girl but witnessed the attack, was sentenced to four years and nine months.

Devereux did not take part in the gang rape but recorded the crime. He was sentenced to five years in prison.
