A mother was arrested on a number of charges including child neglect after allowing her kid to walk on the road while she was urinating.
Florida Highway Patrol officers were called after the mother drove recklessly with her 2-year-old son in the car.
Brianna Dee Knox, 28, of Beverly Hills then crashed into four cars on I-4.
Police were called to the scene at around 5:00 p.m. and found that Knox’s red Honda broke down under an overpass.
Witnesses told police that Knox got out of the car and was acting “erratically and disturbed.”
She removed the child from the vehicle and allowed him to roam free on the road while she went to the shoulder to urinate.
Knox resisted when troopers David Flores and Alain Hernandez attempted to arrest her. She kicked one of the officers in the chest as she was being handcuffed.
A child protection officer took custody of the boy. Knox is facing charges including driving under the influence, child neglect, leaving the scene of a crash, and battery on a law enforcement officer.
She is being held on $15,000 bail.
