A man who tried to shoot and kill another person was found with 110 bags of drugs in his intestines, according to police in Maine.
Baileyville police said that they have arrested 27-year-old Stephen Perkins after being accused of dealing drugs.
Perkins was arrested along with 4 other men from New York.
20-year-old Saul Figueroa, 21-year-old Marcos Luis Figueroa-Frias, 26-year-old Elmer Frias, and 24-year-old Jordan Rodriguez, all of the Bronx, were charged with attempted murder and drug trafficking.
They were booked into the Washington County jail and bail has been set at $250,000 each.
According to the police investigation, the five suspects were traveling in a vehicle when they opened fire on another person.
Luckily, the other person was not injured.
After the shooting, police pursued the suspects and they were all arrested.
Police later noticed that Perkins had stored 110 bags of cocaine in his intestines.
All packets were individually wrapped and carefully stored inside his body.
The drugs were eventually seized.
