Snowstorms can be a hassle and disrupt people’s lives, but one store recovered $4,000 worth of stolen goods thanks to the recent storm.

Police in North Dakota said that a man managed to get out from a store with a shopping cart containing stolen merchandise.

However, he did not get far as he was stopped by the snow.

According to police, 22-year-old Dustin Johnson filled a cart with about $4,000 of products at a Hobby Lobby store in Minot.

While Johnson was walking in the parking lot to his car, the cart got stuck in the snow and overturned. Johnson then fled before police arrived.

However, along with the stolen merchandise, Johnson’s wallet fell to the ground. The wallet contained ID with his address.

Johnson was arrested and charged with the theft.
