A teenager was accused of molesting many young children at school and a YMCA.

The Indiana high school student is accused of fondling at least 17 children between the ages of 3 and 7, Clark County Prosecutor Jeremy Mull said.

18-year-old Michael Begin was arrested in October while he was still a student at the Jeffersonville High School.

At that time, he was accused of sexually abusing two 6-year-old girls. Since his arrest, many more girls came forward with allegations, claiming that Begin molested them as well.

So far, Mull said he filed 20 additional charges of child sexual abuse against Begin.

Begin is under house arrest while awaiting trial. If convicted, he is facing many years in prison.

According to court records, Begin had access to the children as part of his jobs.

He was working at Thomas Jefferson Elementary School as part of Jeffersonville High School’s Early Childhood Education class and he also worked at the YMCA. Both jobs gave him access to young kids.
