A man who thought he was going on a date with another man was robbed when he arrived at the prearranged location.

Florida police said that the man thought he was going on a date, but instead, he was attacked and robbed at gunpoint.

Police said that 21-year-old Taborice Lee Foster targeted the victim using Grindr, a dating app for gay men.

When the victim arrived at his home in Panama City, Foster and another man attacked him.

They pointed a gun and searched the victim’s pockets. The two stole his wallet before allowing him to leave the home.

Foster and the other man, 19-year-old Royquez Darrell Deloach, admitted the robbery during an interview with police.

Authorities said that they have recovered the weapon used in the crime.

Both men face charges of armed robbery while Foster faces an additional charge of unlawful use of a communication device.
