A wife became angry with her husband after he refused to pick up items left behind at a bar by her friend, according to police in Connecticut.
Fairfield police said that they have arrested 44-year-old Amber Llorens after being accused of throwing hot pizza at her husband.
Llorens has been charged with one count of disorderly conduct.
A judge released the woman from custody without bail.
According to the police investigation, on Sunday, Llorens and her husband George, 47, went to the SeaGrape bar, where they attended a birthday party.
At around 1:30 a.m., the two left the party and went to Domino’s Pizza to purchase pizza.
As George was driving home, Llorens got a car from her friend and asked them to drive back to the bar because she left some items there.
George did not want to drive back to the bar to pick up the friend’s items and an argument broke out.
Llorens then threw several slices of hot pizza at her husband.
George then called the police and his wife was arrested.
Police officers who arrived at the scene said that they found several slices of pizza on the floor of the couple’s car.
