Winner of police donut-eating contest breaks into Dunkin’ Donuts and steals large amount of dough

A man who became famous for winning a police-sponsored donut-eating contest found himself behind bars after breaking into a donut shop, according to police in North Carolina.

The Elizabeth City Police Department said that they have arrested 27-year-old Bradley Hardison after being accused of breaking into a Dunkin’ Donuts and stealing a large amount of dough.

Hardison has been charged with breaking and entering, safecracking, and larceny.

He was booked into the Albemarle District Jail and his bail has been set at $7,000.

According to the police investigation, Hardison first became famous after winning a police-sponsored donut-eating contest.

Hardison managed to eat 8 glazed donuts in just two minutes.

One day, when Hardison had a strong donut craving, he broke into the Dunkin’ Donuts located at 1510 West Ehringhaus Street.

He broke a safe and removed cash.

He then left the scene.
