A woman was arrested for arson after she set a home on fire because she was angry with the homeowner.

41-year-old Taeko Ochiai of Yaizu, Japan, was arrested after police determined that she deliberately set fire to the home of her acquaintance, a 30-year-old man who lives alone.

According to police, at around 4:30 a.m., Ochiai went to the man’s two-story home and broke the window on the first floor.

She then set the curtains on fire and left the home. The man was not home at the time and his house was quickly engulfed in flames.

Firefighters battled the blaze for about an hour and a half. The inside of the home suffered extensive damage.

According to the police, Ochiai admitted to starting the fire to get back at the homeowner after there had been some trouble between the two.
