A school teacher stabbed her husband because he refused to have sex with her.
According to police in Uganda, 24-year-old Harriet Nambi stabbed her husband, 25-year-old Musa Batera, to death for denying her sex.
Joseph Kihamba, the chairman of the Kaliro district, said that Nambi will face a murder charge for intentionally killing her husband.
Nambi gave birth to a healthy baby via Cesarean section just two months before killing her husband.
Hasifa Babirye told police that Nambi, who is her neighbor, confided in her, saying that she was frustrated by the fact that her husband did not want to have sex with her.
“She told me that her husband was denying her sex but she needed it,” Babirye said. “I asked her to wait since she just had a C-section, but she was obsessed,” the neighbor added.
Babirye said that she advised Nambi to be patient with her husband, who has two other wives, but she did not take the advice.
When her husband, a former representative of their community, returned home and denied her sex again, she stabbed him to death.
