A woman targeted a pregnant woman’s unborn child by kicking her in the abdomen multiple times during a fight over food, according to police in Florida.
The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office said that they have arrested 36-year-old Tabatha Williams after being accused of punching and kicking the pregnant woman while arguing over a slice of pizza.
Williams has been charged with aggravated battery.
She was booked into jail and was denied bail.
According to the police investigation, Williams and the victim, who is two months pregnant, live on Dairy Avenue.
One of the women ordered pizza, and when the food arrived, they began arguing over a slice of pizza.
Williams punched the pregnant woman.
When the pregnant woman fell to the ground Williams kicked her in the abdomen multiple times.
Police officers who arrived at the scene noticed that Williams was intoxicated.
During questioning, Williams admitted that she knew the victim was pregnant and she intentionally kicked her in the abdomen to harm the unborn child.
William also claimed that the victim jumped her so she fought back.
