Good Samaritans save woman from man who was struggling to remove her clothes and rape her

Two men being were hailed as heroes after coming to the rescue of a woman who was being sexually assaulted.

Police were called to an apartment complex in California after 2 good Samaritans were able to stop the attack and they held the suspect down.

According to Detective Melissa E. Ramirez with the Ontario Police Department, 21-year-old Jordon Maurice Hunter walked up behind the woman at an apartment complex in the 400 block of Riverside Drive.

He grabbed the 30-year-old woman who was on her cell phone and attempted to rape her.

The woman struggled and screamed as Hunter was struggling to pull her clothes off.

The two good Samaritans heard the woman’s screams for help and they went to investigate. Luckily, they were able to stop the rape and Hunter was arrested.

Hunter is facing charges of assault with the intent to rape and mayhem, according to court records. He is being held at the West Valley Superior court on $225,000 bail.
