What started as a feud on social media ended in real life drama.
Police in Australia have so far charged 2 people in connection with the fight that left a mother severely injured.
23-year-old Rhiannon McGann, her friend Dylan Hulett, 20, and another friend were at a Waterford West park in Queensland when the incident unfolded.
It was about 10:00 p.m., on Saturday, when a group of 3 men armed with metal baseball bats and golf clubs confronted Hulett.
He had been in an ongoing feud with one of the suspects on Facebook. The men wanted to hurt him.
McGann tried to intervene and diffuse the situation but things got out of hand. The angry suspect beat the mother with the baseball bats, breaking her skull and bashing her face.
They also managed to beat Hulett, their intended target, breaking his arm.
The suspects fled in a silver Holden Commodore but were later located and arrested.
Police have charged a 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man with causing grievous bodily harm, wilful damage, and assault occasioning bodily harm.
The third suspect was not yet formally charged.
