A homeowner was shocked to find a naked woman sitting in her empty bathtub, according to police in Canada.

Kingston police said that they arrested the 42-year-old woman, who was not identified, for stripping naked and going into a stranger’s home.

The woman was charged with being in a dwelling unit unlawfully and breaching probation.

According to the police investigation, the incident unfolded on Sunday night.

The resident came home from work and found the naked woman sitting in her bathtub that was not filled with water.

When the resident ordered the woman to leave, she claimed to be her new roommate.

The resident called the police.

When police officers arrived at the scene the woman was still sitting naked in the empty bathtub.

The woman was removed from the home and arrested without incident.

Police wrote: “On Sunday, at approximately 6:15 p.m., the complainant returned home to find a naked stranger in her unfilled bathtub. The woman in the tub attempted to convince the complainant she was her new roommate. Police were called, and upon arrival, officers found the woman still in the tub.

“The accused was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where she was held to attend a bail hearing the following day.”
