Some women try hard to come up with a unique pregnancy announcement.

One woman surprised her husband by having a plane pilot make the announcement publicly.

Audrey Rose discovered that she was pregnant on the morning that she was supposed to fly from Tampa, Florida, to Chicago, Illinois.

She decided to keep the news secret until they got on the plane.

While her husband, David Rose, went to get coffee, Audrey used that time to hand a note to the flight crew, asking them for a favor.

Her note read: “Dear flight crew. I have a big favor to ask. I just found out that I’m pregnant and I really want to surprise my husband. I was hoping you could announce it before takeoff. His name is David Rose and he is sitting in seat 28 E.

“If you can give me a quick cue that you are about to announce it, I will get my video camera ready.

“If you don’t, I understand, but if you can it will be amazing. Thanks so much. Audrey Rose.”

After all passengers were seated, the pilot made the announcement and said: “David and Audrey Rose have apparently smuggled an extra passenger on board today.”

David husband quickly looked up from his iPad. He was perplexed and confused. He asked his wife: “What?”

The pilot continued: “Audrey has recently discovered that she is with a child.” The husband kept asking: “What? What?”

He then understood that his wife was pregnant with their second child and leaned over to kiss her. The couple has one daughter together.

Passengers around them laughed, clapped, and rejoiced after learning about the couple’s pregnancy news.

Audrey posted the video to Facebook with the caption: “This time around I really wanted to surprise David with the news of our new baby. I think I got him pretty good.”
