A woman suffered strong pain and heavy bleeding after a surgeon forgot a latex glove and compression in her body following a surgical procedure, according to court documents in France.

The 48-year-old woman of Marseille, who was not identified, suffered heavy bleeding during her periods.

She decided to seek medical attention for her condition and had surgery.

The doctor performed an endometrial-ablation, which was supposed to stop heavy bleeding during periods.

When she woke up following the procedure, the doctor told her that the surgery was a success.

It did not take long for the woman to begin suffering strong stomach pain.

She felt like someone was stabbing her abdomen with a knife.

She told the doctor and nurses about her pain and she was given painkillers.

However, the pain did not go away.

The woman had trouble sleeping at night, had a difficult time urinating, and was vomiting.

After suffering three times from pain that felt like contractions, her body expelled a latex glove and five compressions, which were apparently left inside her body during the surgical procedure.

She also suffered heavy bleeding.

She went back to the hospital and told the doctor what happened.

The doctor told the woman that he was covered by insurance and left.

The woman then decided to sue the doctor and the hospital for medical malpractice.

The woman still suffers from chronic urinary tract infections as a result of the doctor’s carelessness.
